Amatuer Antique Clock Repair. Is It Bad When A Spring Goes "sproiiiiing!!"?
I have an old sessions calendar regulator that has been wound tight as a tick. so i was wondering. any chance that i can loosen this thing myself? any hints, tips or warnings? how about a nice instructive web-site? (Read answers)
Clock Accessories - Do I Have Antique Clock Key? Company Called "standard"?
I have an item i picked up at an estate sale and it looks very similar to a drum key or clock key but it has a circle opening on the bottom 1/ 4 " in diameter, which is threaded. on the knob/ handle, which is 1-5/ 8 " by 7/ 8 ", is the word standard. the total height of this object which looks like stainless steel is 2-1/ 4 ". does anyone know anything that could help me further identify this object?
